According to Fox News, Microsoft will soon be establishing its own retail chain, just as Apple did years ago. They’ve hired Wal Mart veteran David Porter to be their corporate vice-president of retail stores. Considering the giant that is Wal Mart, this was probably a shrude move. Now, it’ll probably be some time before the Microsoft Store is up and running and appearing in a shopping mall near you, but it wouldn’t hurt to watch their Career page. Something like this will probably require quite a bit of manpower, and will probably leave a great deal of room for advancement.
