Looks like the recession and technology have become warm bedfellows. The first example of this is growing market for iPhone applications. Indeed AdMob (the company responsible for iPhone and iPod Touch advertising) has seen its iPod addage jump by about 30%. Which probably wouldn’t continue at such a strong clip, but it highlights the strong demand for iPhones and iPod touches, despite the stagnant economy.
On the other end of the spectrum is the professional social networking site, LinkedIn. Think of it as a Facebook for professionals. And, flooded with worried workers trying to maximize their networking efforts, it’s more popular than ever. And, LinkedIn has a Careers page you should check out.
