There was an article in CNN today about Family Dollar stores. Family Dollar is a typical dollar store–everything within their walls is $10 or less. They sell a bit of everything: toys, games, clothes, candy, and all kinds of food. And they’re actually doing really, really well in this economy. Mostly because they’re able to keep their prices so low. They do this by seeking not-so-prime but right for the price real estate (you know that seedy strip mall on the corner?) and by avoiding name-brand products.
Seeing as how this recession just seems to stretch further and further, maybe you should look at their jobs page.
